12th International Conference on

Luminescent Detectors and Transformers of
Ionizing Radiation

June 16-21, 2024, Riga, Latvia

The 12th European Conference on Luminescent Detectors and Transformers of Ionizing Radiation (LUMDETR 2024) has successfully concluded.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their invaluable contributions!

We are excited to announce that the next LUMDETR event will take place in Częstochowa, Poland, in 2027. This event will be organized by Professor Dr. hab. Arkadiusz Mandowski from the Institute of Physics at Jan Długosz University.

Special thanks to the University of Latvia, the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS), and SIA Baltic Scientific Instruments for their support in making LUMDETR 2024 possible. We look forward to seeing you in 2027!

LUMDETR 2024 Scope and Objectives

The Institute of  Solid State Physics, University of Latvia invite you to the 12th European Conference on Luminescent Detectors and Transformers of Ionising Radiation to be held in Riga, June 16-21, 2024.

LUMDETR 2024 will continue the tradition established by the previous meetings in Latvia (Riga, 1991), Estonia (Tallin, 1994), Poland (Ustron, 1997), Latvia (Riga, 2000), Czech Republic (Prague, 2003), Ukraine (Lviv, 2006), Poland (Krakow, 2009), Germany (Halle, 2012), Estonia (Tartu, 2015), Czech Republic (Prague, 2018), Poland (Bydgoszcz, 2021).

This conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of the latest developments in basic and applied research in the field of radioluminescence, the processes of energy transfer and storage in solid state systems, the physics and chemistry of luminescent phosphor and scintillation materials, and related applications.

Invited lectures will be given by leading scientists to introduce the main topics of the conference. Both oral and poster presentations will create the body of the conference program. Delivered manuscripts will be refereed and we intend to publish them traditionally in the journal Optical Materials X (Elsevier Publ. House) / Radiation Measurements
