Project summary:

To develop new vaccine candidates and small molecule drug leader compounds against coronaviruses, especially COVID-19 and its complications. The goal of the project is development of a vaccine candidate, development of new small molecule leader compounds and re-profiling of existing drugs to reduce COVID-19 complications.

Tasks of ISSP UL:

In collaboration with the BMC, to develop lung-on-chip device, which will allow to study of SARS-CoV-2 infection processes. The device will be fabricated from PDMS and protocols will be developed to fabricate the devices from alternative materials.
