Project number KC-PI-2017/86

Duration of the first stage project: 29.01.2018 - 29.07.2018.

Project leader: Dr. Phys. Juris Purans

Description:

The project goal is to commercialize novel specialized silicon based substrates for nanomechanical tests of 1D nanostructured materials. One-dimensional 1D nanomaterials (nanowires, nanotubes, nanofibers) has a wide range of applications: from nanoelectronics to textiles and composites. Characterization of mechanical properties of 1D nanomaterials (strength, durability, etc.) are important for a number of applications.

The maximum financing of the first project stage is EUR 25 000 with an ERDF support of 90%.

Development of the Commercial Strategy, the Feasibility Study and the Commercialization Event Schedule takes place during the 1st project stage.
