Applications and capabilities

The VMP3 is a research-grade, multi-channel potentiostat/galvanostat that is built around a modular chassis design where 15 independent channels are installed, one of which is specifically designed for low current measurements. In addition tool is equipped with two impedance measurement modules.

Tool is especially suitable for battery testing due to the current range and high precision. 15 measurement channels allows for measurements to be carried out in parallel and over long periods of time which is key for characterising battery lifetime.

A glove box is available next to the VMP3 for easy battery cell assembly but measurements are not limited to only batteries. In general all type of electrical and electrochemcial systems can be characterised.
