The Latvian Academy of Sciences Yearbook (annual report) is a follow-up edition published since 1991. Annual reports covered the period from March of the preceding year until March of the current year i.e. the year of publication. The Yearbook contained basic information on the Academy, including the membership directory. Since 2006 the annual reports are available both in printed and online versions.

The issues of 2019, 2020 and 2021 are following a new concept regarding Yearbook's contents - topical issues of the science policy in Latvia are highlighted, and articles of the leading Latvian researchers representing life sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as technologies and engineering are included.

In the Yearbook is mentioned the Baltic Assembly Prize for Science which was awarded to academician Roberts Eglītis from our institute for the research “Theoretical predictions of new materials for energy storage and harvesting”, as well as participation of our institute scientist Aivars Vembris in the project “Recent developments of azidopurine and triazolylpurine chemistry”.
