On 2 October 2026, the European fusion education network FuseNet is hosting its annual European Fusion Teacher Day. This year, teachers in Latvia will have the opportunity to attend three lectures in Latvian on the contribution of Latvian scientists to the EUROfusion research programme.
The Latvian session will be available on the Zoom platform:

13:30–14:00 Elīna Pajuste (Institute of Chemical Physics, University of Latvia): The Heavy Hydrogen Isotope Tritium and Its Role in Fusion
14:00–14:30 Artūrs Brēķis (Institute of Physics, University of Latvia): Magnetohydrodynamics Research for Fusion at the Institute of Physics, University of Latvia
At 15:00, the joint European Session will begin in English.
