On 25 September, several researchers from the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) were officially presented with their State Emeritus Scientist diplomas in a ceremony held by the Latvian Academy of Sciences. The decision to grant this honorary status was originally made by the Council of State Emeritus Scientists on May 11.
The prestigious State Emeritus Scientist status has been awarded to the following ISSP UL researchers:
