Today, on September 2, the Scientific Council of the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) voted for Andris Anspoks to continue his work as the director of the institute for another term.
This decision confirms the Scientific Council's trust in the institute's development strategy for the next 5 years, as well as his commitment to scientific excellence, and international collaboration. The vote must still be confirmed by the University of Latvia Senate.
We congratulate Andris Anspoks on his re-election and wish him continued success in guiding ISSP UL toward new achievements in the upcoming term!
