For several years, the Solar Cup student competition, organized by the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL), has called the Port of Riga its friend and cooperation partner. They promote youth interest in green technologies and STEM disciplines by supporting the competition's young talents in the solar-powered boat model races.
In this year's competition too, one of the most exciting disciplines will be the floating model race, where student-built boats compete in speed and engineering precision.
These dynamic races will take place in specially adapted pools – the "Port of Riga Boat Track" – which proudly feature the company's visual brand identity. ISSP UL expresses its sincere gratitude to the Port of Riga for its long-standing support and successful cooperation, which makes an invaluable contribution to the growth of future innovators.
