Organized by the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia and the Living Matter group of the Department of Physics, University of Latvia, the event highlights advances spanning fundamental research to translational applications. Particular emphasis is placed on the physical intelligence of single cells and collectives, including the principles that enable microswimmers and small-scale robots to sense, decide, and act.

The symposium also offers a platform for early-career researchers and students to share their work and engage with leading experts shaping the future of next-gen biomedical systems.
