Scientific work at the ISSP UL is closely linked to the training of physics students at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the University of Latvia.
Already during their bachelor’s and master’s studies, students have the opportunity to participate in the institute’s research activities and gain practical experience. Each year, approximately one-third of FST’s Physics Department students carry out their bachelor’s and master’s theses in the scientific laboratories of the ISSP UL.
