ISSP UL funding: 200 000 EUR
Project Description
A miniature photonic ammonia sensor that uses the principle of loss mode resonance (LMR) for accurate and fast air monitoring. It is compact, energy-efficient and provides a longer lifetime than traditional gas sensors.
Achievable results
Develop and validate an integrated LMR sensor prototype under laboratory conditions (TRL 4) and prepare the technology for commercialisation.
Benefit
Improves air quality monitoring in agriculture and industry, reduces health risks and promotes a safer working environment.
