Project description:
The next step in improving the optics of augmented reality glasses is to create wire grid polarizers directly on the optical elements. The project will produce prototypes using both electron beam lithography and holographic interference techniques. The goal is to select the best technology for manufacturing full-size 52x38 mm elements on plastic and free-form substrates for use in augmented reality glasses manufactured by Lightspace Technologies. The company has expressed interest in rapid prototyping services and the supply of such polarizers for use in its latest dual-purpose product.
