On March 6, Career Day 2026 was held at the Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre, uniting the career days of Riga Technical University (RTU), RTU Riga Business School (RBS), and Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) under one roof. Companies from a wide range of industries took part, representing information and communication technology, engineering, medicine, social sciences, and other fields, to offer students extensive internship and career opportunities.
Attendees had the chance to meet employers from various sectors face-to-face, explore internship and job openings, take part in engaging activities, and listen to panel discussions on highly relevant topics – such as professional growth challenges, workplace well-being, and sustainable career development.
The Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) was also present with its own stand. Visitors could check out and learn more about current vacancies, as well as consult about work and internship opportunities directly with professional researchers and students who are currently gaining hands-on laboratory experience at ISSP UL.
