23 – 27 February will see the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) host the 42nd International Scientific Conference of the ISSP UL, within the framework of the 84th Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia. The conference brings together researchers, students, and long-term partners for a dedicated scientific event.

The main objectives of the conference are to present current research activities and laboratory achievements to exchange ideas across disciplines and create new opportunities for established researchers as well as early-career researchers.

The conference programme will be announced on 17 February., and it will feature presentations covering both fundamental and applied research, reflecting the broad spectrum of research done in ISSP UL on topics like:

  • Nanotechnologies

  • Photonics

  • Sensors

  • Optical materials

  • Organic materials

  • Materials for energy applications

  • Micro- and nano-materials

  • Theory and modelling

  • Thin films and coatings

  • Devices and prototypes

Abstracts must be submitted via the conference homepage until 13 February.
