Researchers working in the field of quantum photonics are invited to participate in the International Conference on Quantum Photonics Development in the Baltic Region, which will take place in Riga, from 11 to 13 February 2026.
The conference will bring together leading experts from across Europe and beyond to exchange knowledge, present recent research results, and discuss emerging technologies and future directions in quantum photonics. The event programme will cover a broad range of topics, including:
Quantum optics fundamentals
Integrated quantum photonics
Quantum communication and networks
Quantum computing and simulation
Quantum sensing and metrology
Participation in the conference is free of charge, and researchers can still submit abstracts by 13 January. Confirmation of participation will be sent by 20 January.
The conference is organised within the ToEQPL project, which aims to develop a strategic roadmap toward establishing a Centre of Excellence in Quantum Photonics in Latvia. The event is an important step in strengthening regional and international cooperation in this significant research field.
