On 5 September, representatives of the University of Latvia Foundation and the J. Kalnavārna Foundation visited the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) to discuss collaboration on infrastructure development aimed at enhancing research opportunities in the field of microfluidics.

The guests also toured the institute’s cleanrooms, where they had the chance to see first-hand the scientists’ work with micro and nanostructures, as well as gain deeper insight into the fabrication of microfluidic chips.
