On 13 August 2025, the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) welcomed representatives of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) for a collaboration-focused visit.
The meeting included an open dialogue on the latest developments at LIAA, including initial insights from implementing Horizon Europe projects and opportunities for future cooperation in EU project applications and other joint activities. ISSP UL also shared recent updates on its research and institutional developments.
Following the discussions, LIAA representatives joined a short tour of ISSP UL facilities and laboratories, gaining a closer look at the institute’s cutting-edge research environment and engaging with researchers directly.
The visit reinforced the strong partnership between LIAA and ISSP UL, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing Latvia’s innovation ecosystem.
