The Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) is excited about Venture Catalysts – a free training programme designed for researchers and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to turn their ideas into successful businesses.
The Venture Catalysts programme offers:
Online workshops on intellectual property protection, customer needs analysis, product and market fit, presentation preparation, and more.
Mentoring sessions with industry and business experts.
A practical and intensive approach tailored to the needs of innovators.
The training will take place from September to November 2025, and participation is completely free of charge. At the end of the programme, teams will have the opportunity to present their ideas to potential partners and investors. Venture Catalysts is implemented by UniLab, Riga Business School, RISEBA, NextGenerationEU and Latvian state organizations and initiatives.
The programme is also suggested by the BioPhoT platform whose aim is helping scientific teams develop essential business skills to successfully advance and commercialise their research-based products and services.
This is a great opportunity for ISSP UL researchers to acquire valuable entrepreneurial skills and accelerate the journey of their technologies from the laboratory to the market.
