DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to the first Battery Industry Day\, taking place on 25 February 2026\, from 9:00 to 13:00 at the Institute of Solid State Physics\, University of Latvia (2nd floor hall\, Ķengaraga iela 8\, Riga).\nThis event aims to bring together scientists\, industry leaders\, and policymakers to foster dialogue on the future of battery technologies\, innovation pathways\, and opportunities for collaboration across Latvia and the wider European region.\nParticipants will also have the opportunity to hear insights from Latvenergo\, Latvia’s leading energy company\, in the presentation “Batteries for Business: Stability as an Advantage”\, as well as learn about the latest trends in battery technology development from ABB Schweiz AG\, a global leader in power and automation technologies.\nRegister here\n\nThis event is organised within the framework of the LACISE project\, co-implemented by the Institute of Solid State Physics\, University of Latvia.
