RESEARCH INTERESTS

My recent scientific activities are concerned with point defects and colloids in insulators, their optical properties (absorption, photo-, X-ray, electron- and swift-ion-induced luminescence), defect creation mechanisms induced by radiation, as well as photo- and thermostimulated processes with defect participation.

Materials of major interest: pure and doped halides ( KCl, KBr, KI, CsI, KBr-In, KBr-Tl, BaFBr-Eu, CsI-Tl, RbCl-In, RbBr-In), oxides and perovskites ( Al2O3, MgO, KNbO3, TeO2 , ZrO2, PbWO4).
